Summer is here! Moments of lingering in the poolside sun for our daily Vitamin D intake is on everyone’s weekend agenda. So how do we prepare??? We dig out our swimmers, detox our bodies. The boy’s hit the gym and stockpile beer in the fridge.
We spruce up our pool and prune the poodle…and hedges. But what is to be done about the garden path – those slinky, slippery access strips to the pool? You know…the one frequented by petite wet feet hurriedly dashing for the dunny :-/ What no one wants to imagine is someone kissing the concrete on their way because they slipped on slime.
Case in point are the above before and after pictures of a chemical concrete clean in Taringa. Ain’t it funny that when our garden flourishes the concrete suffers. Maybe not so funny but the alternative could read ‘sterile flourishes whilst our mind suffers’…hmmm, so we’re keeping our gardens right! And maybe in the future building outdoor surfaces from more durable materials will be common practice.
But perhaps you’re reading this blog at a loss as to what can be done to undo three seasons of weathering to your outdoor surfaces.
Tip 1: Don’t wait three seasons before you call Get It Clean! Constant exposure to the elements without man’s intervention can prove more powerful than the best chemical clean. This is true even when you’ve got the best in the cleaning business working for you.
Tip 2: To maintain the ‘good as new’ appeal schedule a routine quarterly chemical clean. You’ll understand why when you’ve spent hours trying to pressure blast your way to clean and clear surfaces. Or could it be you’ve already arrived at “arrrrgggggh” – sorry!
Tip 3: Ask The Get It Clean Team for more tips when you witness them in their element!
Tip 4: Enjoy taking a walk down the garden path. Enjoy the delights of summer in our beautiful leafy green Brisbane.
